Drust sat spinning a runestone and absently swishing his tail. “Nothing to do yesterday, the day before that, and nothing to do tomorrow.”, he thought as he flicked his spindly fingers to make the runestone twirl once again. Had Drust been paying attention to the glyphs of the runestone, he wasn’t, he would have seen the portents “wander” and “fall”, he did however stop to stare at the glyph that said, “weep”. “Huh, that’s weird… and eerie. I wonder what it could mean?”, he said, stroking his hand across the smooth carved surface of the glyph. The uneasy thought was quickly interrupted as a winged key fluttered by. “A wayfly, a secret for me! But if I grasp it, where does it even lead?”, mused Drust as he bolted after the winged key.
